it's going to be unbearable when some pasty Brit finally does win it. I won't be able to get away from all the news coverage.

Racing cars around a track is fun to watch, sweaty men hitting balls with sticks or parts of their anatomy isn't. Fawning news readers and newspapers even less so.

It was bad enough when England won the rugby world cup and I actually half like rugby.
