Even though I'm technically half-English, and have married an Englishman, and have an accent like a 1950s BBC presenter, I get very cross when people call me English. My father has properly indoctrinated me.

Well, half the scottish accent, used to date a girl and I thought it was like going out with a scottish Billy Connoly... that does _soo_ much for me. I like subtal irish accents too. And american.
