Wine ends up tasting differently due to many, many factors, GonzIt's much more complicated than the colour, or the type of grape used. it's not as complicated as wine snobs want you to think, though.

Yeah', I totally agree, but it's just wine, sometimes different beers are in order, sometimes cocktail/juices/soft-drinks etc.It's so limiting, but it shows up in every dish.

Wines taste radically different depending on what you're eatingIt's weird - Syrah tastes like sauerkraut when drunk on its own but of berries when drunk with a casserole, for example.
