I often find bands are too louda lot of sound guys tend to crank the monitors too much as well. Tossers.

I watched them soundcheckTo be fair, I didn't rate the sound guy's competency in insisting on miking the amps, given that they were already too loud for a room that size. And oh, surprise surprise, you can barely hear the vocals without sending the PA into squealing feedback.
