Me tooFFXII is also very good, but FFXIII is one of the worst 'games' I've ever played.

I preferred VII myself Not that VIII isn't awesome, but I couldn't bring myself to care as much about the characters. And obviously I was comparing it to the awesomeness of VII throughout.
