Sorry Gonz, but there will like as not be a good reason for this.Drugs aren't cheap. We can't just all have whatever we want. There has to be a "value" judgement. Not because your treatment isn't important, but because there has to be an assessment of what else could be done with the money.

They aren't cheap, deffo, but they're cheaper than an operation and having someone not be able to work and pay tax on that work for a year that it'd take for recovery.(

It really doesn't work like that.And I bet you they aren't cheaper. Sorry, I know this is a late reply, work got in the way.
Chrone's is a chronic indication. You'd need the drugs all your life. That's probably a few hundred thousand quid at least.
