Big walk around the Isle of Wight, a housewarming party, a night out with friends, possibly a trip to the sea-side.

Oh yes, of course.
That sounds fun and I bet the weather will be nice. I'll be interested to hear how it goes as I like cost walks and stuff. Are you camping along the way or staying at B&Bs?

Staying at a friend's house in Ventnor.
And will be bussing to and from the start and end points. One of the days is a fifteen miler. I've never walked that far before.

I did 15 miles with a heavy pack (was camping)
It near crippled me. If they hadn't had hot showers at the camp site i'd not have been able to walk the next day. Unloaded though you should be fine, just take breaks when you need them.

Yeah, it'll be unloaded.
I'll be taking lunch and waterproofs, and a fully-loaded mp3 player.
