I've only played with brushes so far
but my mate has just set up his decent electronic kit so I can have a go with sticks on Friday!

can't wait!

means good stuff for the band too, because our drummer is a great guitarist and pianist. If I can play rudimentary drums we can really mix things up.

I'd say he's close to the middle.

He's a better guitarist and pianist than drummer, but I certainly don't want to put his drumming down.

Curiously, the two drummers we've had have both been ice cream men at some point in their lives.
