I was similarly impressed by seeing Hogarth's 'Rake's Progress' series at the John Soane Museum.The painting room is amazing in there - although the place overall I found claustrophobic and a little unpleasant.

I've been to lots of galleries and areas of historical interestbut I only included that example because it's the closest I've felt to the enormity of the artifact. Usually I don't get taken that way.
I absolutely love churches and cathedrals though. Like, disproportionately love them.
