I think you have answered your own question thenIf it is one of your favourites then you really should get it on vinyl. Plus Southern Lord vinyl is lovely.

That and Black One then.Sunn O))) needs to be played very very loud and vinyl is best for very very loud while maintaining the frequency range.
Sunn O))) are my favourite metal band of the last 10 years. Arty, serious, avant garde and challenging. Very much the Peter Andre of drone metal.
