I've never been particularly hirsute, but my godmother's family areThey're also half-African, and therefore of a fairly dark complexion and hair colour. I forget whether it was her brothers or her cousins, but apparently they both had very hairy backs and chests. I don't think they were too embarrassed about this until they visited a swimming pool one day. As they left the pool to go and shower, the first of them walked into the showering area to hear a little boy scream.
"Daddy!" he bawled, "there's a gorilla in the shower!"
Said cousin/brother looked slightly alarmed. The boy's father looked mortified with embarrassment as his son clung to him for protection. Before either of them could say anything to break this awkward pause, the other brother walked round the doorway.
"AAAARGH!" The little boy screamed, "THERE'S ANOTHER ONE!"
