We are at around £800, assuming I can breastfeed, that we get a few things from gumtree (still waiting for answer) and thanks to a few free things from friends (not many, though)

If the breastfeed and the gumtree fail, it'll probably go to the 1500 easily.

that the car seat might have been in an accident? We have to buy one, but I've been told it has to be first hand, as the moses mattress.
