I hate it when people go to resturants with sharing food, like chinese, and they're all like "BUT I ORDERED THIS AND YOU ORDERED THAT".
Unless someone says at the start, before you go, or someone is in a dire money situation.

That's the deal.
Same with rounds in pubs - if you state from the off that you are doing your own thing then fine - just don't pipe up at the end and break out a calculator like a crass, ill-mannered boor.
