VNV Nation, without a shadow of a doubt
The bands weren't quite as good as last year generally, save them. And I met them after the gig, which was absolutely fantastic, I met one of my favourite bands and they were bloody lovely guys.

No amount of mockery will detract from the pleasure I will derive from this memory, although I've no doubt that won't stop you trying.

You should hear some of their contemporaries' names
V2A were my favourite in that respect, but only because a few of us spent half an hour speculating on what it stood for. Vag 2 Arse won obviously.
