I never really got along with Morrowind and Oblivion
so I'm rather ambivalent over Skyrim.

if it's anything like the other games
computers won't be able to cope until a year or so after it comes out

I've had my computer for 4 years now,
though I upgraded the graphics card about 2 years ago, and it coped with Fallout 3 and New Vegas without any problems.

For some reason it really struggled with Civilisation 4. Which is why I ended up with the new graphics card.

The Civ games are the only reason I upgrade at all, now.
They seem to be less well optimised than other games.
