My old lady was a teacher and won over at least one class in September by walking into the room and saying "Right, fools. This is 'O' level biology. You're in a catholic school. If you don't think Darwin was right get out now."

You probably can't do that now.

You might struggle to find teachers with sufficient wit to do that now - it's a dying art.

We'll be fine, we have Wikipedia now.
There is a reason I didn't go into teaching as I originally planned. My doubts about being allowed to teach stuff was one of the major factors.
