... It's hard to explain, there are the usual way of using things, but the new way is very touch friendly, things like windows, buttons, menus, the whole lot, has been re-thought of. Plus it's more or less instant on (even on a low-grade ARM processor it went from switched off to being in your 'Tiles' (the equivilent to your desktop, I suppose) in 3 seconds.

Also, development ethos is amazing, a developer could create a service, such as "post to twitter", and that will be usable in every app. Or you could create a "use facebook photos" service and suddenly when browsing for photos to, say, share or upload, your facebook photos would be there.

Plus you can build apps using webtechnologies such as HTML5/Javascript, which means that someone like me, who has never touched desktop development, can suddenly build very rich applications.
I absolutly love the idea of Tiles and am considering a WM7 mobile when my contract is up.
