That's bollocks,there is a correlation between abusers having been abused as a child. Which is very sad obviously but it does mean that it's not genetic but a learned behaviour.

it's clearly bothsome people who were abused go on to abuse. some people who have never been abused will abuse. it's a combination of genetic predisposition and social conditioning.
both ways it's horrendous.
