I've never paid for a dating site, but I somehow can't believe they'd be more useful than free ones

I got 2 different girlfriends off dating sights in the past.
One was paid and pone free, I think the personality matching gubbins was better on the paid one and it did match me up with someone who, while I am not with her anymore am still very close to.
