The film in question was Insidious, which was like Poltergeist but shit, and lacking both tension and squeaky-voiced midget psychics.
Alt: There have probably been worse ones but the trip to Legoland last year in the half term holiday was an utter waste of time, I've never paid so much for the pleasure of standing in a queue. I'm never going to a theme park again when schools aren't open.

Therefore missing any tension that was building up, so when the big 'scare' happened, she'd say 'This is shit', because she'd missed all the buildup.
What a knob.
If she'd done that with a decent horror film on my first watch, I think I'd have killed her.

Might as well be arty and referential while murdering. That's the post-modern way.

Near end of season, schools already back, so despite it being a Sunday and the sun being out, it was lovely. Hardly any queuing at all. 10 minutes for a boat ride at the end of the day was the longest by far. Used vouchers so we paid half what we should to get in, so good value.
I had a great day.
