I find the "well half of us did it legally
but we're a community, so we should be allowed to stay together, and anyway we didn't understand the laws properly so we should be let off or something" argument to be fucking annoying. I don't understand tax law but that doesn't mean I should be let off not paying it. And if one of my mates buys a big house I shouldn't be given one next door just because we go to the fucking pub together.

I thought they were evicting them TO knock down their houses?
as knocking down houses with people in them is cruel even for Essex.
