they are fairly common
meaningless patterns and pointless tribal or celtic nonsense are everywhere, but an especially personal tattoo which a person can be proud of for the rest of their life can be a good thing

nope, just most people don't use their imagination
they'll get some stock, standard thing which they get done for decoration or the sake of it tattooed and regret it later. Mine means something to me, and that's all that matters
