I'm waiting for SSD to come waaaaay down in price before I consider investing.
Even though it would probably make like laptop run like the proverbial off a shovel.

I need the drive for storage so SSD just doesn't cut it.
One day I might think about mounting an SSD for operational duties, but I can't really be arsed at the moment.

Yeah, I need to remember how to ghost the HDD over to it for that.
As ever, Google will be my friend, no doubt. Also, I need to figure out what kind of HDD the bloody thing has in the first place...

Google "Speccy" and download the Piriform software you find.
Analyses your computer and tells you what you've got.

Or, just open the machine and read teh serial number.
