Yeah, I couldBut the sound card's an old XFi one. It's out of support so I'll have to replace it eventually anyway

Fair enoughif you're gonna spend £80 on a sound card though, you might as well just buy a brand new computer.

Hah, believe me, I've done the maths.I'll probably have to replace it all before too much longer, it's an old socket type etc. If I were to do that, I'd just replace the motherboard and CPU and make sure I got a mobo with a coax out on it.
That's partly what's been staying my hand.
