I understand that some places, even backward places like Wales have gone beyond letting women take photos, they've actually let them TALK TO PEOPLE about how to take a holiday snap.

not really
after a certain amount of hours you don't get paid more, you get time of in lieu. Since you can't take it anytime you pretty much do it for free
