Just looked at current share prices and dividend payments for barclaysfor 25k you could get 15500 shares, dividend of 1p per share this year so that's 1.5k a year and lets face it barclays isn't going to go bust and will make profit in the next 18 months.

2005-2006 they were doing 15p+ dividends.No wonder the rich stay rich.
