Indeed it is.The other week I found out that hydrochloric acid is actually thick and gloopy.

Err. It's not *that* gloopyand it depends what the concentration is. Conc sulphuric acid is more gloopy than hydrochloric, in my experience.

Concentrated phosphoric and sulphuric are very viscous - sulphuric is very greasy too.Hydrochloric acid is a gas at room temperature, it's usually sold as a solution in water or alcohol.
