I actually have a different experience to yours. Our local hospital is largely shit, and I have very low expectations of its staff and procedures. However, when mr b3th needed treatment last Friday, I have to say I was really impressed. They got him straight into a bed, hooked him up to a beepy machine, and he was seen by two doctors and two nurses right away. He didn't need to be admitted, thankfully.

On the other hand, people let me down all the time. I obviously have stupidly high expectations of other people, and they almost always disappoint. *sigh*

I've always found the NHS to be great until now. The treatment I have had for my epilepsy over the years has been very good. St Mary's were also great with the labour & birth of our daughter.
