We had the last one last week
but the screen was crap and could barely tell what we were watching. I'm glad the sonographer knew; she reckons the baby is fine. I reckon the baby is a big black doodle.

Our 12 week scan was a toughie - they couldn't find the nasal bone which is a marker for down's syndrome. We paid for a private scan at 16 weeks as we were worried and didn't want to wait until 20 weeks. The nasal bone was there. Massive relief.

Our two ended up having about 8 scans as Mrs Cow's daughter was small for dates and struggling
She was 4lb 10oz when born and only just 5' tall.

We paid for a couple of privates as well
I'm thinking about paying for another one. On my 20 weeks the placenta was too low for natural birth. On the 32 weeks it had moved just enough, although it took more than 20 min of poking and moving the baby to make sure it was ok. I think I'll feel better having another at 36 weeks to confirm.
