If you're fast at mixing it there is generally no problemnot sure if I have any vanilla seeds, and I doubt that vanilla essence or vanilla sugar would have the same effect

A drop of essence should workbut don't use much as it overpowers cakes, so I reckon it would be rough in a cocktail if you used more than a tiny dash.
