Morning one and all
Despite a mildly irritating cold, I am in a great mood. As Gonz said, it is the last day of the working week. I saw a good band in a nice venue last night and tonight I am going to play some records with some other music nerds whilst drinking beer and eating fine curry.

Apart from the fact it'll be just me, spotify and no beer.

Still, it's better than the alternative, I could have gone to visit the in-laws for the weekend with the other half.

I saw a guy last night who was the singer with them, I knew I knew the name, but when he played some Delicatessen songs I didn't recognise any of them. He tried to make a big thing about it being 13 years since he last played on British soil, but I failed to get excited as I didn't really know who he was...

Just googled him
His name was Neil Carlill, and apparently was in "Britpop supergroup" Lodger with Danny from Supergrass and Pearl from Powder. That must be why I remember them...
