What I would like Monty, is a reccomendation for a pub that does decent food
somewhere near say, Charlotte Street, or possibly in Soho, that I can book for a group of about 7-8 people for an evening in December.

And before you say it, yes, you do look like a copy of the good pub guide. Now, what's your hot tip?

My tip is not to go to a pub in Soho for food.
I am sorry that this is a shit reply, but I'm completely stumped. There are OK restaurants and OK pubs but I know of no excellent foodie pubs in that area.
