I never said I *can't* cookI was just never taught. Being at boarding school meant my Mum never taught me, and being at a Grammar school meant we didn't do plebby subjects like Home Ec.
I can follow recipes, I just don't know the basics - like just how long do you cook a roasting joint for, and stuff like that.
