Basically, I think it's politically motivated while pretending to be a case of law and order.Call a spade a spade, we're getting rid of them because we don't like them. Then see how many votes you'll get next election.

I think you are probably right.I've never really understood the public desire to have hate figures, but I guess they are harder to come by in a more "tolerant society".
