I think with the advent of shoe polish discussion, OT may have reached its nadir in terms of the banality of everyday life seeping into the wonderful world of the innernets.
William Gibson is spinning in his pre-death grave, as the Matrix he predicted descends into discussions about 'margarine as shoe polish' and polishing LARPing kit in order to slow its painful degradation.
