You know it's probably not cleaning stuff because it's too full. And needs cleaning because all the shit comes back up from the waste pipe because plates don't get rinsed before they go in

also, switch it off at the wall. Leave it 30 secs and switch it back on. My old whirlpool one always needed re-booting.

And then when you're done, chuck it and buy a Bosch one, they are fucking indestructable.

But if I rince them, then I might as well apply like 20% more pressure with my hand and clean them, thus making it pointless. I do use a kitchen towel and whipe them down for the bin though.
The too full thing, although I know you're probably correct, is.... ermmm... well, I don't see the point, if the tray can hold the items, the spinny things can spin without touching anything, then what's stopping it from working? IT's like someone has turned around and said "How can we fucking Gonz's Day? How can we make it worst? I know, let's weigh the cutlery and if he's over this abatory limit, we'll make the machine not work.", and they succeeded.
