Nowadays we tivo everything and watch our own stuff at our own convenienceI haven't had to suffer a single soap opera for a good few years now. I still remember the days of four channels (closely followed by the days of four channels and a channel of intermittent fuzz and primary colours) and the amount of shit that got watched because it was the lesser of four evils.
