I'm currently watching TV shitfest the batchelor.
What shite do you watch on TV that you'd rather punch a kitten in the face than watch, but have to cause someone else does?

Alt: What biscuits are you having with your tea or coffee?

I still like /talk but OT is not that bad.
Hmm, interesting. I'm sure a savoury biscuit could work with a pint.

Oh god, I need to post almost exactly what Cavy put, except I'd sadder because I have no beer.
And, much like /talk, this place shuts down for the night and some of the day during the weekend. People off being interesting and interacting in real life and that.

I'm mostly irritated because after a week of half term I finally finish the work I had to do and now I have nothing to do until tomorrow. Feels like I should be doing something exciting

Almost everything on the tv makes me want to kill myself
which is why I don't have a tv.

I have a rather soggy takeaway burrito. It necessitated a 2 mile cycle ride out of my way and it really was not worth it. This has distressed me.

today is national disappointment day

Totally shouldn't have bought takeaway on national disappointment day :(

I didn't get any cards for it either, did you? worst disappointment day ever
(, Fri 28 Oct 2011, 23:06, Reply)
No but I did get mail
I like it when I get mail, especially now I live in a shared house and none of it is bills.
(, Fri 28 Oct 2011, 23:08, Reply)
Harsh, probably should have got some hardier food.

(, Fri 28 Oct 2011, 23:08, Reply)
I'll stick to pizza from now on, I think
it's just that the takeaway leaflet looked so full of promise :(

(, Fri 28 Oct 2011, 23:22, Reply)
A bit pissed and morose
but about to have a spliff so it's not all as bad as that. How're you?
(, Fri 28 Oct 2011, 23:23, Reply)
Could be worse thanks
why pissed?
(, Fri 28 Oct 2011, 23:30, Reply)
Payday pints with people from work
they're a really good bunch actually.

EDIT - but tackling Headington hill drunk on a bike in the dark...next time I think I'll walk back to St Clements and bike back to the station from there. It was fucking terrifying.

I have tried , believe me.
Happily I have my PS3 and Laptop so can always watch the iPlayer of play FIFA and PES.
(, Fri 28 Oct 2011, 23:36, Reply)
I do the same. Although I do football manager. Probably should start taking crack and be done with it.

(, Fri 28 Oct 2011, 23:37, Reply)
Lot of people I know play Football Manager.
I don't have the patience tbh.
I remember how there used to be about a dozen football and management games released in a decent year, now there is just 3 (counting EA Euro and World Cup as FIFA)
(, Fri 28 Oct 2011, 23:41, Reply)
Best to keep away, it sinks its claws in and you never get away. Bit like Chelsea with youth players.
I know what you mean, they seem to have given up.
(, Fri 28 Oct 2011, 23:47, Reply)
Nowadays we tivo everything and watch our own stuff at our own convenience
I haven't had to suffer a single soap opera for a good few years now. I still remember the days of four channels (closely followed by the days of four channels and a channel of intermittent fuzz and primary colours) and the amount of shit that got watched because it was the lesser of four evils.

The film I'm watching just had the following line:
"She stuck a lipstick in her boob and it fell out of her pussy!"

It's a good job I have alcohol.
