I need to be half asleep before I get into bed
Otherwise I'll just lie there thinking too much. Once I'm in the sleep pattern that's me for the night, if I get woken up by one of the kids having a nightmare I can go and deal with it and be back to sleep in seconds.

I don't tend to remember my dreams. People who do remember their dreams and then try to tell me about them can fuck the fuck off to fuck.
