SF Sorrow is not their best work if you ask me.
The singles they were putting out around that time were fucking mindblowing. I believe 'Defecting Grey' to be the finest British psychedelic single ever made.

Also in Mr Evasion they appear to invent drum'n'bass. In the 60s.

One of the things that helped tip him over was McCartney dropping by and playing She's Leaving Home to him on the piano.
This says a lot about the poor man's mental state, as that is a truly awful song.
