He is deliberately being a waste of spaceso that I will come and sort it out for him and instead I am watching with ill-concealed glee and derision. He is not at all amused by this.

Nah, watching him flail about in almost panicis far more satisfying. That a nearly-30 bloke cannot work out how to use any of the new implements in his new kitchen nor cook a meal with them is utterly absurd.
