Napoli have some fucking good players too

And they're very strong at home
Nonetheless, City have made a hash of their group. I would say "Champions League experience is invaluable" but United seem determined to disprove that notion.

They'll probably try and finish 3rd now to get into Europa!

For different reasons Spurs disproved that last year too.

United's fuck up was Basle at home
they'll win the last game but now they can't win the group, and this isn't the year to come second in a group really.

Agreed
Mind you, if they get humbled by Barca in the second round it will make your £50 bet all the safer

It's Munich rather than Barca or Madrid that worries me.
Firstly, I think Barca and Madrid are beatable, and anyway, there's no disgrace in losing to either. But Munich look quite good and Man U will be "expected" to beat them

Maybe they would have been before Munich made City look ordinary
No way will Ferguson underestimate them, but I agree, they may well be too much for United. Barca are beatable but not by this United team, in my opinion. If anyone can make Phil Jones' lack of experience at the back count (apart from him, last night)...
