I'm never sure whether to taste it once it's in my slow cooker
As whilst I know it tastes good at that point, it will get better.

Aye, one or two...
I've found it's far cheaper to buy sandwich bags and freeze stuff in them than buying containers, as you don't get too many uses out of the them.
