Good effort on the verticality! Whereabouts are you looking to go in the Alps? I'm thinking of touring through France, Belgium, Netherlands, Germany and Denmark, then getting a ferry back to the UK.

Late reply is lateParis to Alpe D'Huez via the Izoard and the Tourmalet and maybe Verbier too, then from Alpe D'Huez over the Pyrenees and down to Pamplona in time to meet my friend K at the bull run on July 7th.
