Yeah', I know what the thread starts with isn't always where the conversation goes...... and if you're bored of whats being said, then go off and do something else like everyone else does, or threadjack with something you want to talk about, /talk's not there just to entertain you. You post them within minutes a few minutes of a new thread or while conversation is still happening. With that 'you cool?' thread, look at whenever the previous thing from that was said, it was 4 hours ago, nothing else was going on... which is why people do that Alright thread.
You well know this though.
