Have you just pickled them?
I boiled some then roasted in foil with balsamic vinegar and chilli flakes. They were "fucking nom"

No, I just boiled them
I was then planning on sticking them in a roasting dish and having them with some trout fillets I bought. But the mrs didn't fancy having trout so we had pasta instead.
