This week is my last week of drinking at home.
I was going to quit in the new year but my belly is growing faster than I anticipated.

Any New years resolutions you really could do with starting now?

Alt: Who has to work over Christmas?

I have my suspicions that Quentin is Rory before he's taken his Ritalin.

Sorry Blousie, I've just posted at the same time as you.
Alt: Not me, that's for fucking sure.

How's the Mrs with her new job?

She really enjoyed it last Friday
and is there again today and tomorrow. There are a couple of dilemmas to work through with it though.

The contract etc?

Yeah.
However she spoke to the bloke who tipped her the nod last night and he is of the opinion that the kid isn't going anywhere as that particular school doesn't have an exclusion policy. So as long as his mum doesn't move from the area, and therefore take him out of the school, all should be well. But there's still the risk of giving up a relatively secure job for one that could end if the kid does leave the school as she'd be surplus to staffing requirements.

She's going to speak to the head today and suggest the trial is extended into the new year so the school can observe whether there's any difference in his behaviour between the days she's in and those that she isn't, to see if she really is needed.
