Everyone knows who Helen Keller is, we're taught about her at school. She hid in the loft from Nazis. Presumably her diary was badly spelt in its original form.

I gave up history before GCSE, as it was so badly taught and the curriculum was so uninspiring
it involved almost no 20th centuary history as I remember
