Chin up grumpy tits !I made a fucking awesome dinner
Starter: Teryakki scallops, prawns and black pudding.... the teryakki bit was last minute when I had already cooked the black pudding. For the record, teryakki black pudding works soooo fucking well.
Main: Butternut squash roasted with garlic, rosmary, chili, honey. Then blitzed in the blitzer with a touch of cream and masciponi.... then into oddly-shapped stuffed pasta.
Desert: skipped.
And my Ma's BFF who I was cooking for took home a doggy-bag (there was loads left over), 'cus she wants to eat something she can really enjoy on christmas and this is better than her daughter's roast.

I saw that.I'm quite cheery really, it's just that song came on before and I was struck at how banal and badly thought out the words were, despite the good intentions.
