I reckon my last place would be classed as suburban rather than urban, my new place is totally urban though.
but the good amazing thing is, right, I'm 5 minutes away from a really really good high street (waaay better than southgate for shopping, southgate is shit for shopping in comparison. I think they're about equal when it comes to eating though), so it means I don't get the drunk twats coming out of the pubs or bars. It's nice and quite where I am, but in 5 minutes I can have all the possible shops I could want, for food or gadgets or clothes or whatever.

Nope - that was urban, too
suburban there is one shop in walking distance and you can play in the road. Rural, you get cows in your garden sometimes
